counseling intern under my supervision since September 2025 at Canfield Counseling. During

her time with our practice, Lori has consistently demonstrated professionalism, compassion,

clinical insight, and a strong commitment to providing ethical and client-centered care.

Lori has shown particular strength in building therapeutic rapport and creating a safe, supportive

environment for clients from diverse backgrounds. She approaches her work with empathy,

authenticity, and a genuine desire to help clients feel heard, valued, and understood. Her calm

presence, emotional attunement, and ability to connect relationally with clients have been

notable strengths throughout her internship experience.

In her clinical work, Lori has demonstrated a strong interest in trauma-informed counseling

approaches and holistic healing perspectives. The specialties that she has developed include

adult ADHD, athletes/high performers and women in life transition. She is thoughtful in her case

conceptualization, receptive to feedback, and highly motivated to continue developing her

clinical skills. Lori consistently displays professionalism, maturity, and a willingness to engage in

reflective practice, all of which are essential qualities for effective counselors and mental health

professionals.

Additionally, Lori has been dependable, collaborative, and engaged within the practice
